A sandbox which is in the shape of a rectangular prism is 3 ft high, 32 ft wide, and 7ft long. If the sand in the box is 2 ft deep, what will the volume of sand in the box be?

The correct option is A 21 cu ft
The sand does not occupy the entire sandbox. So, we only use the length and width of the sandbox along with the height of sand in the box to calculate the volume of sand.

Thus, volume of the sand in the sandbox = length × width × height

=7×32×2=7×32×2=21×22=422=42÷22÷2

=21 cu ft
