Given,

Radius,r = 42000 km

Time taken,=24hours.
Total distance traveled by the satellite = 2πr

Putting all the values
Distance =2×3.14×42000=263760 km

Now,

Linear speed =distancetime =26376024 =10990 kmph

Hence the linear speed of the satellite is 10990 km/h
