From the figure, the line passes through the points (x1,y1)=(2,3) and (x2,y2)=(8,5.5)
Slope of the line, m =y2−y1x2−x1 =5.5−38−2 =2.56 =256×2×5 =512
Equation of line in point form is y−y1=m(x−x1)
Substituting point (2,3) in the equation ⇒y−3=512(x−2) ⇒12(y−3)=5(x−2) ⇒12y−36=5x−10 ⇒12y=5x−10+36 ⇒12y=5x+26
