Solution

The correct option is D Rs. 150
Let the C.P for A= Rs. x
Profit =20%
Then S.P for A =120100×x= Rs. 12x10
S.P. for A= C.P. for B = Rs. 12x10
Profit =25%
then S.P for B =25100×12x10= Rs. 3x2
S.P. for B= C.P. for C= Rs. 3x2
According to the question,
C.P for C= Rs. 225
3x2=225
x=225×23= Rs. 150
Hence, cost of the bicycle for A is Rs. 150.
