Solution

The correct option is B Rs. 33,600 and Rs. 33,480
For A,
Since, he gives 8 % of discount on Rs20,000 and 5 % of discount on Rs16,000
Selling price charged by A , S.P.=92 % of Rs20,000 and 95 % of discount on Rs16,000=92100×20,000+95100×16,000=Rs18,400+Rs15,200=Rs33,600
For B,
Since, he gives 7 % of discount on Rs36,000
Selling price charged by B , S.P.=93 % of Rs36,000=93100×36,000=Rs33,480
