Maximum average power is absorbed by the circuit at resonance.

The resonant angular frequency,

ω0=1LC=1(0.12)(480×109)4167 rad/s

Also, resonant frequency,

f0=ω02π=41672×3.14=663.5 Hz

Now, average power absorbed by the circuit,

P=Vrmsirmscosϕ

=V2rmsZcosϕ

At resonance, ϕ=0 and Z=R, so,

Pmax=V2rmsR=230223

=2300 W

Hence, option (C) is the correct answer.
