Given,
Initial velocity of shell u=21m/s
Slope of the hill α=30
Angle of the barrel to the horizontal β=60

So,

θ=βα=6030=30

Now,

Distance of the point from the gun at which shell will fall = Maximum range
R=2u2gsinθcos(θ+α)cos2α=2×212×sin30cos609.8×cos230=2×21×21×12×129.8×32×32=30m

Hence, Option C is the correct answer.
