Solution

The correct option is A
Let cost price of 1 kg sugar = Rs x
Hence selling price of 950 gm of sugar = Rs x
Selling price of 1 gm of sugar =Rs(x950)
Selling price of 1 kg of sugar =Rs(1000x950)
=Rs(20x19)
Gain = SP - CP =(20x19)x =x19
Gain%=(gainCP)×100=[(x19)x]×100=10019=5.26
Hence gain % is 5.26
