Solution

The correct option is A

Let cost price of 1 kg sugar = Rs.x
Hence selling price of 950 gm of sugar =Rs.x
Selling price of 1 gm of sugar =Rs.(x950)
Selling price of 1 kg of sugar =Rs.(1000x950)=Rs.(20x19)
Gain=SPCP=(20x19)x =x19
Gain%=(gainCP)×100=[(x19)x]×100=10019=5.26 %
Hence gain % is 5.26 %
