The correct option is B Rs 700
Let the marked price=x Rs.
Then according to the question
$\Rightarrow \frac{90 x}{100} + \frac{8}{100} \times \frac{90 x}{100} = 680.40$
$\Rightarrow \frac{90 x}{100} + \frac{72 x}{1000} = 680.40$
$\Rightarrow \frac{900 x + 72 x}{1000} = 680.40$
$\Rightarrow 972 x = 680400$
$\Rightarrow x = \frac{680400}{972} = 700 R s .$
