The correct option is A 12.5% gain
Total money spent for 300 eggs $C . P . = R s 0.80 \times 300 = R s 240$
As only $300 - 30 = 270$ eggs were sold, $=> S . P . = R s 1 \times 270 = R s 270$
Since S.P. > C.P, there is a profit
Profit % $= \frac{S . P . - C . P .}{C . P} \times 100 = \frac{270 - 240}{240} \times 100 = 12.5$ %
