C.P. of chain = $Rs375$

S.P. of chain = $Rs400$

Here , $S.P.>C.P.$ ⇒ There is profit

$$\begin{gathered} Profit=S.P.-C.P. \\ =400-375 \\ =25Rs \end{gathered}$$

We know that,

$$\begin{gathered} Profit\%=\frac{profit}{C.P.}\times 100 \\ =\frac{25}{375}\times 100 \\ =\frac{100}{15}=6.67\% \end{gathered}$$

Therefore, gain percentage will be $6.67\%$.
