Cost price of the cycle $= 1200$
Selling price of the cycle $= 1500$
SP>CP $⟹$ there is a gain.
$ Gain=SP-CP
$= 1500 - 1200$
$= 300$
$∴$ Gain Percentage $= \frac{G a i n}{C P} (100)$
$= \frac{300}{1200} \times 100$
$= 25 %$
$∴$ The shopkeeper makes a profit of $25 %$ .
