M.P. of the article = Rs 3450 + 16% of Rs 3450
$= R s 3450 + \frac{16}{100} \times R s 3450$
$R s 3450 + R s 552 = R s 4002$
Sales tax = 10 $%$ of 4002 = Rs 400.20
Price paid by the customer = Rs 4002 + Rs 400.20
= Rs 4402.20
