Given, C.P. of the rice $= R s 4500$
=> C.P. of one -third of total rice $= R s \frac{4500}{3} = R s 1500$
Profit of one -third of total rice $= 10$ %
So, Profit % $= \frac{S . P . - C . P .}{C . P .} \times 100 = 10$
$=> \frac{S . P . - 1, 500}{1, 500} \times 100 = 10$
$=> S . P . - 1, 500 = 150$
$=> S . P . = R s 1, 650$
Hence, Selling price of one -third of total rice $= R s 1, 650$
So, Profit on the whole % $= \frac{S . P . - C . P .}{C . P .} \times 100 = 12$
$=> \frac{S . P . - 4, 500}{4, 500} \times 100 = 12$
$=> S . P . - 4, 500 = 540$
$=> S . P . = R s 5, 040$
Thus, selling price of the two thirds of rice $= R s 5, 040 - R s 1, 650 = R s 3, 390$
Cost price of two third of rice $R s 4500 - R s 1500 = R s 3000$
% profit on the rest of the rice $= \frac{S . P . - C . P .}{C . P .} \times 100 = \frac{3, 390 - 3.000}{3, 000} \times 100 = 13$ %
