A shopkeeper brought 989.85litres and 1090.89litres of water in two tanks. He used 768.065litres of water. How much water is left with him?

.Step 1: Finding the quantity of total water

Water in first tank =989.85liters

Water in second tank=1090.89liters

Total quantity of water shopkeeper bought

=989.85liters+1090.89liters

=2080.74liters

Step 2: Finding the quantity of water left with shopkeeper

He used 768.065liters of water.

Water left with shopkeeper =Total water - Water used.

So, water left with shopkeeper=2080.74-768.065

=1312.675liters

Hence, the shopkeeper is left with 1312.675liters of water.
