= ₹ 360

Hence, new price of the article is ₹360.

Step 3: Finding the discount

Shopkeeper gives 10% discount on the new price.

Discount =360×$\frac{10}{100}$

= ₹ 36

Hence, the discount given by the shopkeeper is ₹36.
