CP $= \frac{100}{(100 + g a i n %)} \times S P$
$= \frac{100}{(100 + 22.5)} \times 392$
$= \frac{100}{122.5} \times 392 =$ Rs. $320$
$∴$ , CP $=$ Rs. $320$
Profit $% = \frac{P r o f i t}{C . P} \times 100 %$
$\Rightarrow 22.5 = \frac{P r o f i t}{320} \times 100$
$P r o f i t = 22.5 \times \frac{320}{100} =$ Rs. $72$
