Solution

The correct option is C 56 %

Let the C.P. of the goods be Rs. 100.

As the shopkeeper gains 20% at the time of buying, the shopkeeper buys the articles worth Rs. 120.
S.P. = Rs. 120×(100+30)100= Rs. 120×130100= Rs. 156
% gain =(156100)100×100=56 %.
