Let the initial cost price be $x$.
$x+\frac{30}{100}x=260$
$\frac{130x}{100}=260$
$x=200$

To get $50\%$ profit,
50% of 200 ,
$\frac{50}{100}\times 200=100$
It should be sold for initial cost price + profit
= 200 + 100
= ₹300.
