Solution

The correct option is C Rs. 1000
Let the labelled price=100 Rs.
Discount 20 % on labelled price=20100×100=20Rs.
After discount price of radio=10020=80Rs.
He gives 12% additional discount on the discounted price then
12% of 80=12100×80=9.60Rs.
After additional discount selling price of radio=809.60=70.40Rs
If selling price is 70.40 Rs. then labelled price=100 Rs.
If selling price is 704 Rs .then labelled price=10070.40×704=1000Rs.
