Let the labelled price=100 Rs.
Discount 20 % on labelled price=$\frac{20}{100}\times 100=20Rs.$
After discount price of radio=$100-20=80Rs.$
He gives 12% additional discount on the discounted price then
12% of 80=$\frac{12}{100}\times 80=9.60Rs.$
After additional discount selling price of radio=$80-9.60=70.40Rs$
If selling price is 70.40 Rs. then labelled price=100 Rs.
If selling price is 704 Rs .then labelled price=$\frac{100}{70.40}\times 704=1000Rs.$
