B
Rs. 929.28

C
Rs. 1000
loader
D
Rs. 1044.80
loader

Solution

The correct option is C Rs. 1000
Let the labelled price=100 Rs.
Discount 20 % on labelled price=$$\frac{20}{100}\times 100=20 Rs.$$
After  discount price of radio=$$100-20=80  Rs.$$
He gives 12% additional discount on the discounted price then
12% of 80=$$\frac{12}{100}\times 80=9.60 Rs.$$
After additional discount selling price of radio=$$80-9.60=70.40  Rs$$
If  selling price is 70.40 Rs. then labelled price=100 Rs.
If selling price is 704 Rs .then labelled price=$$\frac{100}{70.40}\times 704=1000 Rs.$$
