Step 1.Finding the increased price of article

Original price =125

Percentage increase in the price=25%

Percentage converts into a fraction on dividing it by 100

Amount get increased=25100×125

=31.25

Step 2. Calculating the new price of the article

New price of the article=Original price+Increased amount

=125+31.25

=156.25

Hence the new price of the article is 156.25
