Solution

The correct option is B 7:3
For the first type of coffee, profit = 5% and selling price = Rs. 126; so, CP = Rs. 120

For the second type of coffee, profit = 20% and the SP = Rs. 576; so, CP = Rs. 480

For the mixed coffee, profit = 25% and SP = Rs. 285; so, CP = Rs. 228

So, we need to mix 120 and 480 in a ratio to get 228.

We will use alligation.
So, the ratio = 252:108 = 7:3
Hence, option (B) is the correct answer.
