Solution

The purchased price of potatoes =720×17=Rs.12240
Added expenses =140+120=Rs.260
The real purchase price
=Rs.12240+Rs.260=Rs.12500
Selling price of potatoes
=8.50×17×100=Rs.14450 (Since 1 Quintal = 100 kg)
Profit =Selling price -Cost price
=Rs.(1445012500)=Rs.1950
ProfitPercent=ProfitC.P×100
=195012500×100
=1523=15.66%
