Open in App
Solution

Cost price = Rs 15000
Profit percent = 20%
Profit = cost price × profit percent × 100
Profit=15000×20100
Profit = Rs 3,000
Selling price = cost price + profit
= Rs 15000 + Rs 3,000
= Rs 18,000
So, the amount payed by customer to the shopkeeper = Rs 18,000.
