Solution

The correct option is A 75 Rs.
Selling price after giving 40% discount =2500×(140100)=Rs.1500
Selling price after two successive discounts of 10% and 30% =2500(110100)(130100)=2500×0.9×0.7=Rs.1575
Difference = 1575 – 1500 = Rs. 75
