The correct option is A 75 Rs.
Selling price after giving 40% discount $= 2500 \times (1 - \frac{40}{100}) = R s .1500$
Selling price after two successive discounts of 10% and 30% $= 2500 (1 - \frac{10}{100}) (1 - \frac{30}{100}) = 2500 \times 0.9 \times 0.7 = R s .1575$
Difference = 1575 – 1500 = Rs. 75
