Given : 10% of 12,000 = $\frac{10}{100} \times 12000 = 1200$
S.P = 12,000-10% of 12,000
=12,000-1200= 10,800
Loss = 4%
We know that CP= $\frac{100}{(100 - l o s s} \times 10800$
$= \frac{100}{(100 - 4)} \times 10800$
$= \frac{100}{96} \times 10800 = 11, 250$
$∴$ C.P = Rs 11,250
