The correct option is A Rs 40 In the fist case, we have, S.P. =Rs 35 and gain% =40% ∴C.P=(100100+Gain%)×S.P.=(100100+40)×35=100140×35=Rs25 In the second case, C.P.=Rs 25 and gain% =60% ∴S.P=(100+Gain%100)×C.P.=(100+60100)×25=160100×25=Rs40
