Profit of 300 rupees

Profit on one of the bats can be calculated by, $\frac{10}{100}$ x 6000 =₹ 600, so he sold one of the bats for ₹ 6600.

On the contrary, he made a loss of 5% in the other bat, so the effective selling price = 6000 - $\frac{5}{100}$ x 6000 = ₹ 5700.

So, overall profit or loss can be easily calculated by calculating total CP and total SP, total CP = ₹ 12000, and total SP = ₹ 6600 + ₹ 5700 = ₹ 12,300.
