Profit of 300 rupees


Profit on one of the bats can be calculated by, 10100 x 6000 =600, so he sold one of the bats for 6600.

On the contrary, he made a loss of 5% in the other bat, so the effective selling price = 6000 - 5100 x 6000 = 5700.

So, overall profit or loss can be easily calculated by calculating total CP and total SP, total CP = 12000, and total SP = 6600 + 5700 = 12,300.

So, it is clear that he made an overall profit of 12,300 - 12,000 = 300
