Solution

The correct option is B

Profit of 300 rupees

Profit on one of the bats can be calculated by, 10100× Rs. 6000 = Rs. 600
So, he sold one of the bats for Rs. 6600.
On the contrary, he made a loss of 5% in the other bat.
So the effective selling price = Rs. 6000 -
5100× (Rs. 6000 ) = Rs. 5700.
Overall profit or loss can be easily calculated by calculating total CP and total SP
Total CP = Rs. 12000
Total SP = Rs. 6600 + Rs. 5700 = Rs. 12,300.
So, it is clear that he made an overall profit of Rs. 12,300 - Rs. 12,000 = Rs. 300
