Solution

The correct option is B

Profit of 300 rupees

Profit on one of the bats = 10100×6000= Rs 600

So, he sold one of the bats for Rs 6600

On the contrary, he made a loss of 5% in the other bat, so the effective selling price = 6000 5100×6000 = Rs 5700.

So, overall profit or loss can be easily calculated by calculating total CP and total SP,

Total CP = Rs.12000

Total SP = Rs.6600+Rs5700=Rs.12,300

So, it is clear that he made an overall profit = Rs.12,300Rs.12,000=Rs.300
