Let L be the length of each solenoid S1 and S2 having radius a and b respectively.
n1 and n2 be the number of turns per unit length of S1 and S2.
And I be the current through solenoid S2
Magnetic field in S2=B2=μ0n2I
Magnetic flux linked with each turn of S1=B2× area of each turn =B1πa2

Total magnetic flux linked with S1=B2πa2n1L

ϕ1=(μ0n2I)πa 2n2L=μ0n1n2πa2IL

But magnetic flux linked with S1 is due to I
ϕ1I or ϕ1=M I

Where M is the mutual inductance of S2 and S1
