The correct option is C B
During the ascending motion part of trajectory, the ball is above the ground, thus the position relative to the ground is positive.
Since during 'ascension' the ball moves upwards, thus its velocity is upwards, thus in positive direction.
However the acceleration of the ball is downwards due to gravity, thus acceleration is negative.
Hence correct answer is option B.
