It is given that a car is moving with speed v on a circular horizontal road of radius r.
(a) Let T be the tension in the string.

According to the free body diagram, the value of T is given as,
T=mg2+mv2r2
=mg2+v4r2=ma,
where acceleration, a =g2+v4r2
The time period T is given by,
T=2Ï€lgOn substituting the respective values, we have:T=2Ï€lg2+v4r21/2
