Type of motion: 1 Mark

i) The time period of a pendulum is the amount of time it takes to complete 1 oscillation.

Therefore the time period for 12 oscillations in 20 seconds can be calculated as,

Time period=Total timeNo. of oscillations=2012=1.67Seconds.

ii) A Pendulum undergoes periodic motion. Periodic motion is a type of motion, in which the object repeats its motion in regular intervals of time.
