According to law of conservation of energy, if no dissipative forces are present then the total mechanical energy remains conserved.
Here, sum of kinetic energy and potential energy remains conserved.
Potential energy, U(x) at (x=6 m)
=10+(64)2
=10+4
U(6)=14 J
Kinetic energy, at x=6 m,KEx=6=20 J (Given)
Total mechanical energy of the system at x=6 m,
=U(6)+KE(6)
=14 J+20 J
=34 J
