The correct option is B $2.48 A$
Average output voltage,
$V_{0} = \frac{V_{m}}{π} (1 + c o s α) = \frac{220 \sqrt{2}}{π} (1 + c o s 60^{\circ})$
$V_{0} = 148.55 V$
Average value of load current,
$I_{0} = \frac{V_{0}}{R} = \frac{148.55}{20} = 7.4275 A$
Average value of thyristor current,
$= I_{0} (\frac{π - a}{2 π}) = 7.4275 (\frac{π - π / 3}{2 π}) = 2.48 A$
