The correct option is C 9 cm
Side length of the cube = thickness of the cube, t=24 cm
Let real depth of air bubble when viewed from top of one of the faces be d1 and apparent depth be dapp=9 cm
So, μ=drealdapp
or, 43=d19
d1=12 cm



When viewed from the opposite face,
dreal=d2=td1=2412=12 cm
Now, μ=d2dapp
dapp=12×34=9 cm
