The correct option is B 178.5

As we know, for small angle prism, deviation is given by

s1 = (μ1)A

s1=(1.51)×3=1.5

Now, deviation of ray due to mirror M,,

s2=1802s1

s2=180(2×1.5)=177

So, total deviation s will be

s=s1+s2=1.5+177=178.5

Hence, option (b) is correct.
