The friction force on the coin balances the centrifugal force to 10 cm.
Now, frictional force on coin is given by μmg
And, centrifugal force is given by mrω2
mrω2=μmg
where, ω=θt=3×2π3.14=6degrees/s
Thus, centrifugal force = m(0.1)62 at that point.
Equating the two, we get,
μ=m(0.1)(36)m(9.8)0.37
