A small melon weighs 1 kg. A mango weighs 720 g. How much heavier is the melon than the mango?

Given: Weight of small melon =1 kg

=1000g [Since, 1 kg =1000 g]

Weight of mango =720 g.

So, Difference between weight of melon and mango = melon weight (g) - mango weight (g)

=1000-720=270

Hence, the melon is 270 g heavier than the mango.
