Loss of Kinetic Energy of 1 is,12mV212m(V32)
=89(12mV2)
In horizontal direction,momentum is conservative ,so 2 and 3 have same velocity u opposite to other.
12mu2+12mu2=89(12mV2)
2u2=89V2
u=23V
