Solution

The correct option is B 7.5

Given that,
Factory working hours in 1 day
= 15 hours

Factory working hours in 6 days
= 6 × 15
= 90 hours

Soaps produced in 90 hours = 9600
Factory produces soap in 1 hour
= 9600 / 90
= 106.67

Now,
Total working hours in 1 day as per new requirement
= 15 + 3
= 18 hours

106.67 soap produces by factory in 1 hour.

1 soap produces by factory in
= 1/106.67 hours

14400 soaps produced by factory in
= (1/106.67) × 14400 hours

Number of days in which 14400 soaps will be produced when working hour per day is 18
= 14400/(106.67 × 18)

= 7.5 days

Hence, the factory will produce 14400 soaps in 7.5 days working 3 hours more a day.
