A solenoid is to be constructed with a magnetic field of 0.168 T at its center. The radius of solenoid is to be 0.01 m and the wire carries a current of 2 A. If the solenoid is 1.4 m long, what is the length of wire needed (in m). The length of the wire needed is x×294 m. Find the value of x.

For a solenoid magnetic field induced at centre is
B=μ0niB=μ0Nli
N=Blμ0i
Total length of wire is
L=N×2πr=Bl×2πrμ0i=0.168×1.4×2π×0.01×104π×107×2=5880 m
294×x=5880
x=20
