Density of solid block, ρb=6000kg/m3

Weight of solid block, Wb=10kgwt.

Mass of solid block, Mb=10kg

Volume of solid block, V=MassDensity=MbρbV=106000=16×102m3

Weight of liquid displaced = Upthrust on the solid block

Now, upthrust on the solid block =(106)g=4gρ1×V×g=4g ( mass of liquid =ρ1×V)ρ1=4Vρ1=416×102=24×102ρ1=2400 kg/m3

Hence, the correct answer is option (b).
