Mass=m=50kg
Radius=0.5m
Angular acceleration=α=2rev/s2
Torque=T×R=T×0.5=T2Nm(i)
We know, T=1α(ii)
From (i) and (ii),
T2=1α=(MR22)×(2×2π)rad/s2
1 solid cylinder=MR22
T2=50×(0.5)22×4π=50π=157N
