A solid is in the shape of a cone standing on a hemisphere with both their radii being equal to 1 cm and the height of the cone is equal to its radius. Find the volume of the solid in terms of π.

    Volume of hemisphere
    =23πr3
    =23π×13=23π cm3
    Volume of cone
    =13πr2h
    =13π×12×1
    =13π cm3
    Total volume
    =23π+13π=π cm3
