Chemical reaction
2NaHCO3 + Heat → CO2+ Na2CO3 +H2O b) Ca(OH)2 + Cl2 → CaOCl2 + H2O c) On heating gypsum at 373 K, it loses water molecules and becomes calcium sulphate hemihydrate ( CaSO4. 1/2 H2O). This is called Plaster of Paris.
Bleaching powder is prepared by passing chlorine gas over dry slaked lime.
What do you observe when

(d) H2S gas is passed through copper sulphate solution.
(e) Barium chloride is added to sodium sulphate solution.
