Weight of solid in air = 50 N
Weight of solid in water = 45 N
Buoyant force = Weight of water displaced = 50 N45 N = 5 N
Density of water ρ = 1000 kg/m3

Acceleration due to gravity = 10 m/s2

Volume of solid = vs

Buoyant force = vsρg

Volume of solid vs = 5 N1000 kg/m3×10 m/s2 = 5×104 m3
